Components of the eiPower Saver Agent

Processes

 

 eiPowerAgentUI.exe

This process provides the UI for the eiPower Saver Agent. One instance of this process is launched for each logged in user.

 

eiPowerAgentService.exe

Process for the eiPowerAgent service. The eiPower Saver Agent service monitors the computer and monitor power state, monitor Offsite status and enforces the power policies.

 

Files

All the files for the eiPower Agent are located in the following folder : \Enterprise Infrastructure Partners\eiPower Saver Agent

 

activity.log

Contains the list Inactivity events that have not been sent to the SMP

 

activity_backup.log

Contains the historical list of Inactivity events

 

eiDefaultPolicyUserOverride.txt

If the user has defined a Default Power policy this file stores the power policy settings

 

eiPowerDiagnosticsInfo.txt

When the eiPower agent diagnostics window is open the diagnostics information is written to this file.

 

eiPowerPolicyOverride.txt

When the power policy is overridden this file contains the override settings.

 

state.log

Contains the list of Power Events that have not been send to the SMP.

 

state_backup.log

Contains the historical list of all Power Events.
